Entrants to the programme, typically aged 16-19 on joining, undertake an intensive training programme lasting two, three or four years, depending upon the scheme, which results in their graduating with a substantial depth of skills in the area in which they have specialised. The programmes consist of both academic “off-the-job” and structured “on-the-job” learning.
Our two-year graduate training programmes have been designed to support your first steps after leaving university and to help you develop your career. Our four-year apprenticeship schemes provide you with a platform to study for a recognised qualification and gain incredible work experience at the same time.
We offer apprenticeships in Engineering, Software and Business areas. You will move around the company in rotational placements where you will gain a wider understanding, build a network within the organisation and define your future career with us.
You will work at one of our MBDA sites and study for your qualification via day release at university or college. In addition, we organise bespoke training courses focused on your development to further enhance and improve your skill set.

We offer two-year graduate schemes in a wide range of Business and Engineering areas. Our structured programmes allow you to progress your career by challenging yourself professionally and personally, all whilst playing a role in protecting national security.
We offer a wide range of ten-month placements in both Business and Engineering areas. These opportunities are available to second year university students who desire to gain real industry experience to support their degree.
We offer summer placements in both Business and Engineering areas for university students who are anywhere from their first to final year of study. These run for 10 – 12 weeks starting in June.
